Keith “Catfish” Sutton is a full-time freelance writer, photographer, editor and lecturer. He writes about a multitude of subjects, including hunting, fishing, nature and conservation issues, and has had more than 2,000 feature publications and over 1,800 photos published in more than 350 magazines, newspapers, websites and various other publications. He has written, edited or co-authored more than 35 books.
Keith is former chairman of the board and past president of the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, and served two terms as president of the Arkansas Outdoor Press Association. He’s the recipient of more than 50 awards and special recognitions from Outdoor Writers Association of America, Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, Association for Conservation Information, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Izaak Walton League of America, International Association of Business Communicators and other organizations. The Arkansas Wildlife Federation honored him as “Conservation Communicator of the Year” in 2000 and 2003.
Theresa Sutton also is an accomplished writer, photographer and editor. Her works have appeared in Progressive Farmer, The Rural Sportsman, Arkansas Wildlife, Crappie World, Whitetail Hunting Strategies, BackHome, Mid-South Hunting & Fishing News, ESPN Outdoors, Game & Fish Publications and Bass Pro Shops Outdoorsite. She co-authored “Duck Gumbo to Barbecued Coon: A Southern Game Cookbook” and was co-editor of Stoeger Publishing’s “Birder’s Bible.”
